rest for the weary and a reason to hope
Rest – Jesus said, “Come to me, all who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
- Some are burdened by having the weight of the world on their shoulders
- Others are stressed by the busyness and exhaustion of life
- Still others have been weighed down by religious obligations to which they never measure up
Hope Community Church desires to point people to Jesus, the only source for rest for the soul.
A Reason to Hope – We want to offer solid, reliable, and intellectually- and heart-satisfying reasons from the Bible that give us a hope not dependent upon changing circumstances or emotions.
